Weekend Warm Up 4th/5th Of July

Hello Party People!

What a great week - so many excellent new tracks in one show, hard to choose a favourite…
The echo of ‘So Many Times’ can still be heard in our memories. Gadjo provoked many smiles with this megahit that rocked dance floors around the world. Now after a long rest Gadjo strikes again with ‘It`s Alright’, another tune that will reach the top of the charts just like his previous hit. He has created another perfect production using another catchy tune that just won’t go away. The best remix is coming from Italy’s Alex Gaudino - this is my favourite this week!
The next new track is coming from Denmark, Beatchuggers alias Mike Polo alias Michael Linde had his first hit with a rework of Eric Clapton’s ‘Forever Man’ which became one of the hottest dance hits in the world in 2000. His latest release with a couple of remixes and stunning vocals by Tara McDonald is called ‘Naked’. Great job!
In 2001 Crystal Waters released a song called ‘Enough’. Still like this track and it is time to have it in the show, but I could not decide which remix to choose. That’s why I made some kind of a Happy Hour out of it, 1 artist, one song, 2 remixes - 2 from 1!  :-) Hope you’ll like it, let me know and you will get more tracks mixed like this…
Party time now, enjoy!
The Tracklist
1. Love To Infinity Ft. Kelly Llorenna - You Gotta Love Me (LTI Club Mix)

Weekend Warm Up 27th/28th Of June

Hi again,

one day later as usual (because I am a year older now and I had to watch the football (soccer) quaterfinals yesterday) here is the next show for you.

We’ll have eleven great tracks and two of them are my favourites, No.1 is the first all-new Strictly Rhythm production in five years. And fittingly, main man Todd Terry just happens to be the first name producer to ever record with the label back in 1990. Even better, another two Strictly veterans in Kenny Dope and DJ Sneak are also back on the block. Completing the all-star line-up are Terry Hunter, a Chicago producer and DJ of no mean repute, and Tara McDonald, the voice of Armand Van Helden’sMy My My’ and Axwell’sFeel The Vibe’. In a time of crunching electronic grooves and ever more bleepy electro, ‘Get Down’ feels like the first sunrays of spring, an old-school vocal with the pedigree of the finest uplifting, uptempo dance music. Pete Tong has already given it two spins on his radio show and others are clambering to get a piece of the action. Todd, Kenny, Sneak, Terry and Tara: we salute you.
The other one is coming from a lose group of producers, remixers, singers, musicians songwriters called ‘Connected’ who communicate, create and produce via the web. With perfect vocals by ‘Max C’, this song moves people, it’s in the melody and the words and the Fonzerelli mix brings that interesting fusion of the electronic backing track crossing with a soulful vocal. “A Feeling” has in fact had many mix treatments through bootlegs and remixes over the past 3 years that has made it an anthem in many different arenas. So now, with the perfect rendition and killer new mixes, the summer of 2008 will be all about “A Feeling”.
Enjoy the show and your weekend!

Hello Party People,

I’m back with some fresh new party tracks for this coming weekend. Let’s warm the weekend up with the latest release from Italy’s Samuele Sartini who teamed up with Jordan Dee and CeCe Rodgers to create a wonderful vocal house track - “Let’s Get Back The Feeling” is my favourite this weekend!

Listen to two of their latest remixes this weekend :Natural Born Grooves’Candy On The Dancefloor” (No.1 on the DMC World House Charts this weekend!) and Rochelle’s “Fer Le Dance“.

Weekend Warm Up #42 6th/7th Of June

Hello Party People,
she’s back - the Queen of disco Donna Summer made a new album called “Crayons“, as a pre-release “I’m A Fire” was on top of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts, now we will listen to her first official single release  “Stamp Your Feet” - and this track will burn up the dance floors! Hoooooot!!! Definately my favourite this week!
“The Fonz” Fonzerelli gave the recent Robbie Rivera outing “Back To Zero” a nice uplifting commercial remix - 100% party!
Also highly recommended: the new Bassmonkeys remix of Antigone’s “More Man Than Man”. If you don’t know Antigone, this is what I found about her in a music blog: “Antigone is genuinely one of those rare talents who will make you wet your panties. This cool chick has a vision, a message and a dance beat that will keep you rocking for hours after midnight.” Do I have to write more? Already recommended by Mark Doyle (Fierce Angels) or DJ Meme to name a few.
In 1993 Robin S had a big chart success with a song called “Show Me Love”. A couple of new remixes are out now and my favourite is coming from Matt and Warren Meyers aka Soulshaker.
11 perfect party tracks in the mix - what a great way to start the weekend! Enjoy!

Hello,

My favourite this week as example has summer written all over it: “Coupe Decale” by Jembelatine (aka Laurent Wolf from France) Feat. Force One is a perfect summer party dance track, I am sure you cannot sit still while listening… Another great party track is “You Wot?” by DJ Q Ft. MC Bonez - perfectly remixed by the guys of 7th Heaven! We are slowing things down a little at Track 6, the funky “Hold On To Peace” from a group with the same name is a beautiful funky house track with perfect vocals. And a new Freemasons release (”When You Touch Me” 2008 with Katherine Ellis on vocals!) is a must in every Weekend Warm Up Show.
We’ll have two retro tracks this weekend, the first is a Workidz remake of Kool And The Gang’s “Celebration” and the second is the final track I announce as the retro this week, a remake of one of my all time favourite dance tracks by Steve Arrington,”Feel So Real”. Cubed are two guys from Frankfurt/Germany and this is their debut release. Well done, boys!

Weekend Warm Up Show 23rd/24th Of May

Hello again,

earlier as usual, here comes the show for the next weekend. We will have a lot of different styles this time, uplifting summer house (the Sunchasers track is perfect to open the show!), classic funky songs (Supermen Lovers, the Hed Kandi favourite “Put Em High” by Stonebridge), progressive house (yes I know, usually not my cup of tea, but hey, it’s the brand new Kaskade with Deadmau5!!!), another exclusive vocal house remix from my friends, the Bassmonkeys (Destination X)…

My favourite this week is coming from the danish pop band Alphabeat, their new release  “10.000 Nights” has been nicely remixed by Bimbo Jones.

Is a 90’s hit record already a retro track? I am not sure - anyway, the retro track this week is a new remix (by the british remix team 7th Heaven) of the 1994 release from Shanie “Don’t Give Me Your Life”.

Enjoy the show!
