Massive New Tracks This Weekend - Show 30th/31st Of Jan.

Hello Party People,

another week with so many massive new songs that it was hard to decide which one to take for this show and also hard to decide which one is my favourite this week. The retro track this week is a massive funky re-work of Jade’s 90’s anthem ‘Don’t Walk Away’… The remix by Ali Payami is a feel good sun-kissed take - where is the beach?
Another 90’s remix is coming from A.S.H.A.. Their 1990 smash hit ‘J.J. Tribute’ looks set to be a firm favourite once again thanks to the massive interpretation from 7th Heaven among other new remixes. The vocals are sampled from Janis Joplin’s ‘Ball & Chain’. LOVE the piano!
We are slowing things down a bit with a song coming from Italy. ’Living Without You’ has been written by the wonderful Loredana Maiuri who delievered also the vocals & Paul Cutiè of the Funkellers who produced  all of the 4 different versions. My favourite is the Original.
The next one is already HUGE, on top of several charts - with charming female vocals on marvellous piano Chris Lake’s ‘If You Knew’ will be one of the biggest tunes this year and the right song to kick start your weekend!
Davide Loi (also known as a part of the Henry John Morgan project) is back for 2009 with his new club hit, ‘Dirty Road’. This track features British vocalist, Mia J. Last week part of the Top Ten of the DMC Buzz Chart. Excellent!
Last but not least - my favourite this week is a Dave Whelan & Mike Di Scala production under their name Wheels & Disco (they are also known as Chosen Few, Shake N’ Jack or Pawn Shop). The name of the song ‘Good Times’ says it all - good time dance music! A perfect floorfiller with awesome vocals by Mighty Marvin. DISCO IS FOREVER!!!
At the end we will shake our hips to some latin rhythms - as always, get up and dance! :-)

Weekend Warm Up Show 23rd/24th Of January

Hey Weekenders,

party time again, you can expect nothing less than a lot of brand new tracks as well as many songs you might remember from the past.
My favourite this weekend is sampling a classic Armand Van Helden track called ”You Don’t Know Me“. James Doman teamed up with Pete Gooding to release an uplifting and infectious funky track called ”Runnin’“. HUGE - my rating: 10/10!
The Retro Track is coming from Disco Dice, a German deejay team. A mixture of clubsound, hits from the 70’s & 80’s, def costumes and cool entertainment are their hallmarks since 1997. “The Letter” is a remake of the 1967 release by The Box Tops.
Ananda Project’s sultry lead vocalist Heather Johnson comes out with a debut solo project, produced by Ananda & Wamdue frontman Chris Brann. Her lovely and lightly vibrant vocal shines right through on “Washes Over Me”, complete with a bubbly rhythmic re-rub by hands-down brilliant Swedish producer/DJ Rasmus Faber.

New FM Station

Great news for everyone living in Belgium in the Roeselare area! The Weekend Warm Up Show will go on air on FM at Radio Bingo 107,2. Showtime will be on Saturday mornings from midnight ’til 1 o’clock. 

Glad to be able to warm up the weekends in Belgium! And it looks like there is something more going on - I am in touch with a spanish FM radio and another UK internet station… More airplay for great dance music! :-)

Hello Weekenders,

I am back from my vacation, very relaxed and in the mood to party. Hope you are too - enjoy the show!
Good news for you if you are a Anastacia fan, we will enjoy her 2nd single from ‘Heavy Rotation’: ‘Absolutely Positively’ has been remixed by no one else then the guys of Moto Blanco! Essential.
My favourite this weekend: the new single from UK’s Alesha Dixon called ‘Breathe Slow’, out this month, taken from the Gold selling album ‘The Alesha Show’. Cahill delivered the perfect funky remix!
If James Doman’s ‘Everythings Gonna Be Alright’ sounds familiar to you here’s why: he took the vocal from “Alright” by Red Carpet and mashing it with the anthemic piano riff from “Someday” by CeCe Rogers (also to be heard on the classic “Sweet Harmony” by Liquid)-
Listen to the last track by Charo and you will know in which country I made my vacation… ;-)

great to be back online finally after another server crash… We now changed the company and I hope that we will never have these problems again!
