WUPS 24th/25th Of October

Hello Party People,

time to party again and there is a lot to celebrate - the show is back on FM in Belgium! Hello Crazy FM…
Listen and party to another great lineup this weekend as we have a fantastic Haji & Emanuel remix of Brandy’s new single ‘Right Here (Departed)’ , ATFC gave the classic house anthem ‘Bad Habit‘ a re-rub for 2008/09, Kid Massive choosed the guys from Hott 22 to remix ‘Another Day’ (a perfect choice - fuuuunky tune!).
The polish duo Wawa teamed up with diva Rita Campbell for their first solo release in 2008 to kick off their brand new WAWA Traxx label. Enjoy ‘Forever‘, a big room vocal house anthem!
Kristine W’s new single ‘Never‘ from her upcoming album ‘The Power Of Music’ will be released Nov. 15th with remixes among others from 7th Heaven or DJ Escape/Johnny Vicious. We already have the Love To Infinity remix - my favourite track this weekend!
I can’t give you many informations about the wonderful ”Retro Track” this weekend coming from Hannu. All I know about this unsigned release is that ‘Love Train’ samples the 1973 hit song by the O’Jays (No.1 US Billboard charts, No.7 in the U.K.). A perfect party track, hope you will like it as much as I do…
Have a perfect weekend!

Hey Weekenders,

back with some hot new party tracks for you - the name of my favourite this week says it all: “Groove With U” is a funky vocal house track at it’s best by DJ Neo from Prague, perfectly remixed by the Soulgangsters, vocals by the wonderful Soraya Vivian from London. Great job!

Showtime 10th/11th Of October

Hey Weekenders,

sometimes it looks like we are never satilsfied with what we have - it seems that the grass is always greener on the other side… This is the name of my favourite track this week - ‘Grass Is Greener’ - by Dave Aude with vocals by Sisely Treasure, a singer, songwriter, dancer and actress, notable for the song ‘All Around the World‘ in July 2003 and appearing in the Billboard Magazine’s Top 40 Dance charts the same year. In 2008, she became one of two lead singers for the synth rock group Shiny Toy Guns.
The people behind R.I.O. are Manuel Reuter and Yann Pfeifer alias Cascada, Manian, Yanou… Seems like whatever they produce will become immediately huge! We’ll have their third R.I.O. release this weekend after “De Janeiro” and “Shine On”, a winner again: “When The Sun Comes Down“.
“Rock Me Gently” was a song that was a Billboard No.1 hit for the Canadian singer Andy Kim in 1974. It has been called the “ultimate bubblegum teen-pop radio entry” of its time. The remake by the Evolution Allstars Ft. James Reay is my retro track this weekend - VERY oldschool but also VERY danceable… Love it!
We also have Belgian’s No.1 dance track “Tell Me” by Ricky Rivaro, the fantastic new Haji and Emanuel release “The Pressure“, a cover of the Sounds Of Blackness classic from their first ever Big Love compilation, the new Michelle Williams single “The Greatest“… Hopefully enough new funky dance tracks to start your weekend perfectly!
Enjoy!
The Tracklist:
1. Avenue - Last Goodbye (Spencer & Hill Remix)
2. Michelle Williams - The Greatest (Mr. Mig Extended Remix)
3. Janice Grace - Wanna Be Beautiful (Escape & Coluccio Club Mix)
4. Kardinal Offishall Feat. Akon - Dangerous (Moto Blanco Club Mix)
5. R.I.O. - When The Sun Comes Down (Original Mix)
6. Davide Loi & Robbie Russell - Neighbors (Original Mix)
The Retro Track
7. Evolution Allstars Feat. James Reay - Rock Me Gently (James St. James Stars Above Club Mix)
DJ’s Favourite This Week
8. Dave Aude Feat. Sisely Treasure - Grass Is Greener (Original Club)
9. Ricky Rivaro Feat. Joan - Tell Me (Original Club Mix)
10. Haji & Emanuel Feat. Beverley Knight & Bryan Chambers - The Pressure
11. Cevin Fisher Feat. Loleatta Holloway - You Got Me Burning Up! (Triple D We Love Disco Rebuild)

Weekend Warm Up 3rd/4th Of October

Hi again,
a few weeks ago I was listening to a track on myspace, tried to get in touch with the band and not only got an answer but also my favourite track of the week as well as a shout for the show and a lot of new friends on myspace… Perfect! Paleday are discribing themselfs as “a new Bee Gees, with overtones of Scissor Sisters coupled with ‘Mika quirkiness’, and a large measure of Chic riffs - with a variety and quality of material that even Abba would be proud of!” Wow… Let me say it my way: I love the song (very old school, you know that I like that…), the band is really talented, their live performance seems to be great (see the video here), they have lots of loyal fans and finally it was a pleasure to get in touch with them… Hope you’ll enjoy the Riffs & Rays remix of “Eurotramp” as much as I do!
A huge pleasure too was to talk with Charlotte McKinnon about her shout for the show. I think I was a bit too shy on the phone but she was extra nice… Charlotte is part of the famous KC and the Sunshine Band (my favorite KC song is still “Shake Your Booty“! :-) Is there a remix? Need to check…) We will have a solo release of Charlotte, a remake of Melba Moore’s hit from 1976 “This Is It”. Great vocals and a remix by the Club Junkies which does not destroy the feeling of the original song.
Another highlight this week is a new track by a DJ from Amsterdam, Silverius, “You Got It Goin’ On” is a great funky song and works perfectly in the mix with Bob Sinclar’sWonderful World” - and I do not use one of the actual versions of this song you can find on top of the charts at time - no, I prefer the main vocal mix from 2004, so much better…
Partytime again - enjoy!
